Youth Online Work (YOW), is a project financed by WEB4YES (Western Balkan Civil Society for Youth Employment Support-an EU funded Project ) , implemented by (ANOA). Albanian National Orphans Organization
The project addresses the need for new skills among young people with economic and social disadvantages, to support placement in the Labour Market, through three main pillars:
- Capacity building through the development of three ICT courses
Graphic design
Web design
Digital Marketing
- Career Guidance
- Placement in the Labour Market through Internship schemes in the companies.
The added value to this project is the establishment of a project webpage which will serve the young people to expose themselves , their qualifications and their job portfolio in a dedicated space for youth employment. Companies will be invited to make use of this instrument for finding potential employees.
The project will give a particular attention to support the freelancer work philosophy, since it allows young people to accommodate their needs and agendas best and also have a wider scope of choice in terms of finding employment in a different location rather than where they live in.
Considering that the project targets disadvantaged groups of young people, the skills acquired and the possibility to work from wherever, whenever and with the desired amount of work, facilitates time management and possibility to run their personal, academic and professional life smoother.
All the materials from courses to trainees profiles will be available online and despite the training 30 young people will receive in the traditional in class methods, all the interested young people will have the possibility to attend the online courses in the three fields.
